Welcome to Bynon Art Services.  We are based in the Western Piedmont of North Carolina and offer a wide range of Art and Historic Object Conservation Services.   Bynon Art Services is owned and operated by Mark and Jane Bynon who are both members of the American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (The AIC) at the Professional Associate level.Our services include object and frame conservation treatments, fine art framing, consultations, technical training and installations. We are able to conduct condition assessments for a large collection, treat a single family heirloom, or offer expert advice on a variety of conservation related issues including integrated pest management, storage recommendations for historic objects and disaster mitigation.  We regularly provide our services to private clients, state government, museums, universities, churches, and insurance companies.Bynon Art Services adheres to the AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice.  Our principal aim is to uphold professional standards in documentation, selection of reversible materials and approach, minimum intervention and preservation of original material.
